Paleo Day 4

It’s Day 4 of my Paleo experiment. Looks like I’m getting more protein than I really need. But I’m feeling pretty good. Not craving carbs or sugar at all. That food doesn’t even sound good. Meal planning is somewhat tough, but I’m hoping that in time I’ll get it figured out so I have a more even balance of meat, veggies, and fruit. I’m finding more recipes, so I’m excited to try them out! Who knew that this would turn me into a cook! 🙂

My rough estimates:
Protein (ideal 20-25%): 41% (previous days: 35-13-22-29)
Carbs (ideal 50-60%): 24% (previous days: 37-75-27-24)
Fat (ideal 20-30%): 35% (previous days: 28-12-51-47)

Breakfast

  • Chicken livers w/ turkey bacon, green peppers and onions

Lunch

  • Cranberry chicken almond salad

Snack

  • Natural chicken breast slices
  • Raspberries

Dance

Dinner

  • Spinach/lettuce salad w/ tomatoes and avocado
  • Turkey burger w/ natural tomato sauce, onions and garlic
  • Celery w/ almond butter
